The long awaited day has come. Three Peaks Kinesiology will be opening a 2nd location to serve our clients in the downtown vancouver area better.

This Friday we will be opening up at Le Physique 662 Leg-In-Boot Square (False Creek) Vancouver, BC . (near monk mcqueens)

We will be offering stretch therapy sessions, only, out of this location every Friday from 8 am to 7 pm by appointment only. Reason One: Our Staff have a post secondary education in the science of human movement, Bachelor Human Kinetics, Bachelor of Science Kinesiology . Many trainers are not as well educated in the anatomy and physiology of the human body and how it should work.
Reason Two: We are all Registered Kinesiologist (RK) with the British Columbia Association for Kinesiologists and the Canadian Kinesiology Alliance. We have been recognized as having a Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology with certification in First Aid and CPR Level C. With this membership, we use the title of “Registered Kinesiologist” and work with the Insurance Corporation of BC (ICBC) doing Initial Assessments and Active Rehabilitation. We are constantly improving our stretch techniques by taking continued training in various techniques to help us provide the best service. Reason Four: Our staff are all certified with the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology as a Certified Exercise Physiologist (CEP). We have extensive training in clinical and high performance physiology. So I was referred to Three Peaks Kinesiology by my physiotherapist. I had been involved in a major car accident 4 months before. I had whiplash, neck tightness, shoulder soreness, constant headaches, lower back pains, this was a major change as I was usually very active with sports and life. I also have a physically demanding job as a heavy duty mechanic. I had reached a plateau in physiotherapy. I was told by my physiotherapist Chetan that I needed to do an active therapy program with Three Peaks Kinesiology to help me improve my strength and function further. I am a 56 year old female who came to Three Peaks in the fall of 2007 with osteo-arthritis in my lower back. I wore orthotics, had pain in my right foot, my left knee didn't want to support me and my back ached constantly. My doctor said that exercise would help, so I went to the phone book and called Three Peaks. I was assessed and told that one leg was shorter than the other and my hips were pointing in different directions, and that exercise and something called "stretch therapy" would help. This journey with Travis has been tremendous - I no longer need orthotics, my knee is normal, I have minimal foot discomfort, my legs are the same length and my hips point in whatever direction they're supposed to! Stretch therapy is excellent! I was never a fan of exercise, but I feel so good now, I look forward to it. When I jump off the table at the end of a session, I feel like I'm 16 again. Highly recommended - especially for people my age who are living with assorted aches and pains, and hobbling around. You will move better and feel better!

I am a 58 year old woman whom decided I definitely needed some help in getting physically fit. As we all know, things do not stay in place when we get older unless we work on them!
